Both of Alan’s solo-performances provide new insights into and hilarious one-liners about what it’s like to be disabled in today’s world. These shows are appropriate for a variety of audiences, from disability arts festivals to alternative theatre events; from national performance circuits to international tours; from elementary schools to university campuses.... Both plays are about 60 minutes in length. Still Waiting for That Special Bus is suitable for all ages. Time To Put My Socks On deals with more “adult” themes, and has both language and content that is suited more to a mature audience – although Alan is developing a version of the show for high schools.
